The Final Act (or is it?)

Of all the things I’ve spoken about, this would have to be one of the touchiest subjects in the world. We can talk about a myriad of things but when the topic of death rears its head it always touches that place deep, deep within ourselves and brings such a large range of emotions to the surface because of the connection it places on us, and with those that were close to us. And the only way we are able to handle those emotions is usually by blocking them in some way (in the beginning),ย so that we can still function on a day to day level.

It can be so overpowering because we were so close emotionally, physically and spiritually to someone who has passed away that it takes on such a loss that we feel we will never be able to come to terms with what has happened.ย The loss of that connection, from many years or even a short time is always measured by how close we were to that person, how we interacted with them and how they made us feel.

And as our lives go on and we deal with these individual losses at different times in our life we never seem to get past how it makes us feel inside. The pain and that loss changes us forever so that we find that our future actions are done with a much more caring and giving space. It gives us a wisdom in knowing that we really are here for a short time so we give from a different space. Things that were important, no longer are. Our attitudes to things take on different meaning. And most importantly, the love from those around us, is accepted in a more understanding and caring way.

It is by being taught and shown how to process this time in our lives that enable us to cope with a time that touches us to the core of who we are. We see it in others at a distance as well as those close to us by how they deal with a situation that seems to test us beyond limits. But eventually it is us, who we are and what we have created ourselves to be, by our beliefs and understanding that make us who we are within, that enable us to come through this time with a strength and faith in the journey that we are on.

Spirit has shown me this journey, this final act that we must all face in our lives so that it may give an understanding, a new way of looking at something that has always been kept at a distance, so that it may take on new meaning. Looked at in such a way that it no longer holds that ‘fear’ for us or our loved ones because of the understanding of what really happens at that time. And most importantly, the ‘knowing’ that where those loved ones now are, is the most wonderful, beautiful place that ever is.

This journey is on the menu above under the title of ‘The Death’ for those that may be interested. May it give you peace and blessings.

Mark

  1. Death is never easy. I lost three friends last year and two family members. Two deaths were particularly painful, since they were people who fought so hard to stay.

I use the word “lost” very loosely. I’m psychic so I don’t ever lose anyone. At first (I fell into my abilities in stumbling steps) that was overwhelming. I connect with love so the moment I thought of anyone with love… zap. There they wre. Like speed dial. It can be a bit much, especially when you’re in the shower and your best friend’s father arrives with a message for his daughter.

I used to worry that I’d sound like a weird crank saying things like that ‘out loud’, but lately I’m getting old enough not to care. (turned 50 last year, it seems to have had an effect)

Blessings to you, Mark, wherever your adventures take you. x

PS… found you via another blog and felt a niggle to check your blog. Spirit nudge, I’d bet. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. Hello Michelle! You have been on a particularly testing journey. Losing one person who is close is hard enough but to lose five is seriously looking deep within. And I do understand your path with your abilities. It is very hard when you do it on your own with no guidance as it is a stumbling from one thing to the next. You will have an awareness but because we are still here in human form, we stumble just like every one else. Awareness isn’t an excuse to ‘duck’ under the hard bits, we probably go through more difficult things because of that so that we also learn. The shower thing has got to be an unusual event though ๐Ÿ™‚ Have to think loving thoughts ‘anywhere’ else for everyone’s benefit. Mind you, spirit isn’t interested in those bits, it’s only us mortals that get embarrassed I suppose ๐Ÿ™‚ Glad you are able to speak ‘out loud’ now. Stepping into your truth is a big thing, but once done the freedom is amazing. Welcome aboard! Spirit does those wonderful things for our learning so you were guided here for something, just as I have now had a look at your site. Your books sound very interesting. I’m in the process of beginning mine so I may find something on your blog that may help that journey. Blessings, love and light to you also Michelle, may your journey be always from the heart. Namaste

  2. Death is one thing that I do not fear. When my number is up, I am ready to go. My dad was killed by a drunk driver when I was only 8. My brother’s only son was killed in a car accident when he was only 14. He was my favorite nephew, at the time. We were close. I’ve been blessed with a few more nephews, since. Then there’s the grandparents and other relatives. I know I will be reunited with them in Heaven. What’s to fear? Thank you for this post. I really enjoyed it. ๐Ÿ™‚
    Peace,
    Tammy

    1. My pleasure, and I’m glad that you have no fear of this physical journey that is just a continuation of the ‘real’ one. I was amazed at the fear that I had stacked on board for many, many years and the release when I made my discovery while reading a book. I realise now it is just a learning and understanding process so that we may find ‘ourselves’. I am also reading your blog and finding the courage and strength within myself by seeing what you endure on a daily basis. Thank you for that sharing. Many blessings that you find ‘you’ in your journey. Love & light. Mark

      1. Thank you for following my blog and enjoying it. I also am enjoying following you and reading your very interesting posts. I’m a little slower at getting around to everyone. I have my regulars that we keep up with each other pretty constantly and I think you’re now in that circle whether you like it or not.
        Peace ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. Many thanks Tammy, for being included in the ‘circle’ and for your interest in my posts. I fully understand your timetable is being tested by the journey you are on and what you are going through. More to the point though, is the strength and love you have found within yourself because of that journey. Be proud of what you have found within, and being able to express that in your blog, even though some days you may feel you can do this no more. The diamond is being cut and with each cut the beauty shines even brighter. Thank you again for sharing. Namaste

          1. Thank you, once again, for your kind words. I’m not sure if I should be calling you Mark, like I have been, or Namaste? Sorry about that. Just let me know which you prefer. I look forward to reading more of your inspiring posts. It really helps me to have all this inspiration surrounding me.
            Peace ๐Ÿ™‚

            1. My pleasure. My name is definitely Mark. The term Namaste is a salutation with the following meaning: “The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one, by the soul in another. Nama means bow, as means I, and te means you. Therefore, namaste literally means “bow me you” or “I bow to you.” . And thanks again Tammy for the follow. May our blogs always bring inspiration. Namaste ๐Ÿ™‚

              1. Thank you for that explanation. I’ve really wanted to start getting into learning about all this chakra stuff, but I am into so many other things right now, but I think it would be very helpful for me to get all my chakras open and functioning. I do know the slightest bit about it. One day I will find the time to get into all of that.
                Peace ๐Ÿ™‚

                1. It is an interesting topic chakra’s, very worthwhile even to just understand their integration within the body and their meanings, let alone doing clearing and balancing for you physically and within. The term namaste I have always associated with Indian culture and their yoga, a term of respect and salutation to another. (I honestly do not know its origins though, I just found the term to be one of truth for me). You will find your path and all that it will mean for you, just follow your heart Tammy. Namaste, love and light. Mark (There’s all three and I threw in a little Reiki energy with it to give you a more peaceful time)

  3. Thank you for this post. It resonates with me. Three loved ones departed last year. I have days of missing my sister so much, it hurts. I remind myself that I will see my loved ones again and I move forward in that knowledge.
    Love, light and blessings

    1. Thank you for your comment. I’m glad that this touched how you feel with regard to your loved ones. At the time when spirit was showing me this, and even now, I will never forget the beauty and love that totally surrounded me. I was barely able to give it it’s true description because of just how incredible it felt. Know that they are safe, happy and are giving all their love to you for your journey that is still taking place. They know that you are also finding that beauty and understanding within and finally be in a place of unconditional love just as they have. Yes it’s sometimes hard but it is also sometimes very beautiful this journey that we do. When we find that place within everything changes so the hard bits aren’t so hard and the beautiful bits are so much more lovely. Have faith in who you are and that truth will always be returned. Much love, light and blessing to you also. Mark
