12th Blog Anniversary!
I can’t believe it, I’ve been bouncing around on here for 12 years. Made some incredible friends, shared many stories, and opened to so much love in this dance called life ❣️
But I think most of all, to see, touch and feel so many beautiful hearts on here, and know this world is indeed in good hands! ❣️❤️🙏
Friends…
Along this great path, in a soul gifted life
Looking for laughter, gathering empathy through the strife
I know deep down, a love is to be found
Though struggling to find it, sometimes barely a sound
But in a moment of time, a time of great despair
I was touched so profoundly, a love that was there
And in its soul light, my heart did finally see
That all had a purpose, a light for you and me
And in its great glow, many friends held my heart
To understand a great truth, we’ve never been apart
So thank you my friends, that beauty you share
That truth that you gave me, made me lovingly aware

I am forever grateful that I had loving, thoughtful parents who taught me to be helpful and polite!
From a young age, although shy, I always liked chatting to people, which helped a lot as an evacuee sent to three different parts of the UK (mainly Wales). Lessons learned during WW11 about the kindness of folk never left me. Their resilience and courage was amazing.
On-line blogs must mean a lot to folk living alone, and the disabled, so spreading encouraging words of caring and loving can never be over-estimated! Keep up the good work! Cheers. Love and Peace. Joy xx
Hey Joy, it is indeed great to ‘listen’ to the many hearts on here. And as you explained about the war, to feel those people giving from such a place in so much war and mayhem must have been a God send all its own.
I suppose we react in so many ways depending on that very upbringing. I see so many that are but a mirror of how they were raised, which then leads me to many answers of our journey. Facing those many things that make us hesitate because of that. And that one jewel in our hearts asking us to hold on, giving us courage as we aim to that faith we have built and daring to face in that very jewel of love.
Thank you for your lovely blessings kind lady, there is an urge to share what I found, simply because it raised my hope and faith a million times over. Something that I want to share simply because of that truth it is built on, and resonates with the reader. If it is a truth it will connect. It isn’t something I do…it is something love does to us all.

Hi Mark!! Happy Anniversary!! Isn’t it crazy!? I’ve been here a similar amount of time, and it feels crazy that it has been that long. Well, I am happy that we have connected here. I remember when I first started my blog…it wasn’t totally my idea. And I wasn’t completely on board. But the first time I hit “send” and saw my post…and then had comments from total strangers, I was so surprised! And then, something really changed as I got to know people and looked forward to their blog posts.
I am not able to be here as much as I used to be. That makes me a little sad at times. But then I roll around to making a post and all the incredible people who have been die hard friends here, come out and we have a conversation, and it is like I never left!!
I am grateful for our group of people…I am grateful for you! Congrats again, on your beautiful 12 years! Hip Hip Hooray!!

Awww…Mark, I love your response! When you write from your soul everything makes perfect sense! Everything you said is truth. I feel the love in ways I never had before, and even though there are still challenges, I am much better equipped to keep moving forward.
I also love how you said you found the love inside you by daring to go places that you never had before! Yes! It does take courage…and always…FAITH! And faith certainly makes courage easier to access doesn’t it?
Here’s to BEING! I feel like that is what we are growing in…BEING our true selves. Honoring the love and truth of the Divine that exists within us. You have always been such an inspiration to me🙏

Thank you Danielle, your words are appreciated greatly dear lady. And I think I found unconditional love, hence the giving with no thought of return. But I do realize that we need to be understood first so that we can stand within it. It is indeed a powerful thing, a loving thing, to see someone’s heart light up in that very understanding…even if but a step. So maybe its a little bit conditional on my part, waiting to see that sparkle in their eyes and a hope answered. And yours will be too kind lady, slow as the journey can be sometimes. For I have ‘felt’ many sparkles across these spaces, in places not looked for. A deer, feather or butterfly talking to you…or just a quiet moment in time. It all works kind lady, even, and if not more so, those moments where a turtle will meet you.
