Negativity…The Healer!

Why do we ever give negativity or bad things so much priority in our minds?

It is simple really, anything that is positive or pleasurable we relax into and are at rest. Anything negative does not sit well with us and keeps us ‘on guard’ so it can be healed. We want that perfection of happiness and love, we ever seek it so anything that is not love we actually reach out to it, even by running away.

We’ve never been able to outrun one yet, but once healed it too goes into the healed zone and makes us a little more ‘at rest’, no longer rattling around in our minds πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

  1. I love these thoughts! They resonate deep within me! Blessings for the New Year!

    • Mark Lanesbury

Thank you, and blessings to you also Tamara. Many do not realize that this world is so beautifully balanced so that we can see…see our so called faults and our perfection too. But one without the other is a classroom without a teacher. Have a beautiful new year dear lady, may their be many teachers πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹
Oh, nearly forgot, I have still tried to make many comments on your blog but alas it still refuses to allow me that privilege, you and many others I am blocked upon. I probably have too much to say so the universe wants you to find your love, not mine…even though it is all the one πŸ˜‚ 🀣 πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

      • Thanks so much! I feel deep gratitude to connect with you! I agree, with you that the universe may have a very good reason why you’re not able to comment! Thank you for your efforts!

  2. Oh so true. When you’re going through Hell, keep going, right? It’s the only way to the other side:).

    • Mark Lanesbury

Hey Kristine, good to hear your voice. And I read your lovely new post…and it wouldn’t let me comment…again πŸ™ But yes, the design of the good and the bad bits are perfect, and it knows our hearts need guidance so by design we attract those things so that we will find the balance that love is or we would ever be sitting in our misery not game to face anything. Merry Christmas dear lady, and may you find that balance for your Christmas and New Year! πŸŽ…πŸ½ ❀️ πŸ˜€ πŸ•Š πŸ™πŸ½ πŸŽ„ πŸ¦‹ 🎁 ⛄️

Actually my comment for your post I’ll put here, it is very relevant…

The love always comes out in spades for this time at Christmas…or our awareness of its lack. We know the world is getting together somewhere, eating many peppermint barks but it leaves us feeling a bit lonely if not shared with someone, a reminder of that love and happiness we always seem to have lost. But one day we do find it, and in a very unexpected way…and gives birth to something wonderful to change everything. Yes, even hard old us (ok, your only 30), will never be the same. So, with a great love, hope and faith, may you find them all and become that star on top of the tree young lady. Have a Merry Christmas, let it open your heart and set you free ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

      • Merry Christmas, Mark! Thank you for the lovely words and for the 30 comment :-). Oh so kind and oh so far from the truth! Much wisdom in your comments, as always. But I will leave that for another time. Just enjoy this holiday season!

        • Mark Lanesbury

Will do thank you Kristine, time to just let it all go and enjoy! 🀣 πŸŽ…πŸ½ ❀️ πŸ•Š πŸ™πŸ½ πŸŽ„ πŸ¦‹ 🎁 ⛄️

  3. Whenever negativity hits me I know it’s time for some self care and to connect with nature. It’s always a good reminder to pay attention.

    • Mark Lanesbury

Yes Michele, self care and nature is most certainly a step away from anything negative, an urge to be better, safer and happier. And it does make us pay attention to that lovely beating heart inside. In fact, it makes me want a walk along the coastline now…thank you, I’ll send you some of its energy as I wander along πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹ πŸ˜‚ 🀣

  4. Are you reading my mind, Mark? Lately I have been observing how much negativity has been in my life and yes it has served a purpose, one that is likened to a pearl in an oyster. How incredible it is that God uses ALL for Good if we just trust it is for GOOD. When those negatives come along they make me change, or heal something that yet still remains unhealed in me. And then I grow and become stronger. You know the saying ….. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger? That is what your post reminded me of. SMILE!! xo

    • Mark Lanesbury

Thank you Amy, it all does indeed heal us all. We spend a long time thinking the world is against us but when finally seen and understood it is in fact the one thing that prods us to reply, test us in so many ways and asks us ‘are we ok’. Without it we would never ‘dare’ anything, step beyond ourselves or even try to find happiness simply because we would think happy is ‘just as we are’, it doesn’t encourage us to further ourselves at all. And yes, what doesn’t kill us will indeed make us much stronger…in heart and mind. Thank you for sharing ‘healer’, you have indeed dared that negativity to move onward πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

      • Aw, Mark!!! Sounds to me like you too have arrived, knowing the insanity is not yours to own, no not at all. Welcome HOME to yourself! I call it the Journey back to the Child. You I know have been so tested time and time again and look at you, standing strong seeing the lies and ready to never ever bend your knee to that evil! I am so proud of you for this Journey like no other is the most difficult to transverse! Your voice and heart have merged with those of us fighting for freedom in every single unique way we do it. Welcome to the Movement of Love, of knowing we’ve got this for number one, you will not allow anyone to take you from you! Your mind is intact as well as your heart and most importantly, despite this despicable war, your Soul shines so so bright. I’ve “witnessed” your growth bit by bit and then you exploded to LIFE! Life, Mark! The most precious commodity known to all consciousness. YIPPEE!!! HUGE GRIN ON MY FACE!!! Oh yes we can be breathing but not living. Now you know how to LIVE! YES!!! Ya made it! xoxoxoxo

        • Mark Lanesbury

Thank you kind lady, and smile I will with all that I am. It is a big journey but the beauty in that understanding when we see it is beyond words. May it ever keep our hearts open. Love and light to you too xoxo πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

      • *Tears*. Bless you, Mark!! xo

  5. Anonymous

Here we go again, anonymous callingβ€οΈπŸ™„ great post mark… 3D life is all about contrast, to explore and discover just what we like and makes us happy❀️ It’s just a pity we’re not taught a little more about our focus, which draws in more of the same! So instead of focusing so much on the negative we can remain objective about it and use it better to bring us into another choice❀️
I would just rather spend longer feeling happy without dipping continued in the blah❀️🎢πŸ₯‚πŸ€© sending love, Barbara x

    • Mark Lanesbury

Haha, but I shouldn’t laugh. It is becoming so frustrating to speak to a blank anonymous icon. I know its you, I feel its you, but that blank stare just doesn’t go with the flow dear lady. But beside that, you make a very good point that it is 3D, and the negative is just one dimension of the total that is contrasted against our ‘whole’ being and out of focus. The main feature is there but always nudged by that ‘bit’ which asks for attention until it is fixed and our ‘image’ feels right again and allows us to come to rest within ourselves. Thank you for sharing Barbara, one day our ‘bits’ will contrast beautifully…and I will see who I’m chatting to πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹ πŸ˜‚ 🀣

  6. Most of our inherent thinking is programmed into our brain patterns I feel to amplify the negative..
Plus so many of us are clearing life time after life time of negative experiences…
But once you understand that and do that internal work and clear out that program. Well now, you will find yourself in a whole other vibration of perception.. And its liberating…

And the more we can clear out that negative programming of emotional wounds, then the healthier and more healed we become..

Much love Dear Mark… a great thought provoking post.. ❀️ Hugs

    • Mark Lanesbury

It is a long journey Sue, as you are well aware. And I think it needs to be or anything that is easily done is quickly forgotten. It must leave that imprint of understanding to truly heal its pain…and then accept the scars that it leaves which leaves us, as you said, finally liberated from those lifetimes.
Just a side note, my comment on your new post just disappeared on your site but when I got up this morning it was there. It has reached a point where those few sites that I can comment on, even those that I thought I had no problem with, have begun to stutter with accepting or not. But one thing they do have in common is if I retry to send it, WordPress tells me I have already said that. Well, if it can see it, where is it? Bizzare πŸ˜€
Anyway, thank you kindly for sharing, glad to have you back kind lady πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

      • Dear Mark it had for some reason gone straight into my WordPress spam folder to which you were immediately rescued and restored to your rightful place.. ❀️ πŸ™‚

        • Mark Lanesbury

Ah, so I’m not disappearing after all, just WordPress reclassifying me as spam πŸ˜‚ 🀣 Well I’m safe with you Sue, your my ‘life guard’ by the beach of words on here, thank you! πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

  7. You said that so well, Mark. Negativity is only the opposite of positivity. Since positivity is part of the spiritual being we are, negativity reminds us of what we are not. And eventually, it leads us home… there is no other way.

    • Mark Lanesbury

It is ever a guide Erika, all our emotions guide us home simply by experiencing them and understanding their meaning. They all point inward to what we are made of. Our outward journey a needed key to that understanding so that we give worth to the conditional because it allowed us to see and understand unconditional, see that it isn’t a nasty bit of our journey but in fact given by God with a great unconditional love so that we could find it too πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

      • Yes, that’s exactly how I feel about it too. Nothing that happens is to punish us but to guide us and therefore it is love in action.

        • Mark Lanesbury

Hey, I love your ‘love in action’, much better than my ‘trips and stumbling’ through life 🀣 And yes, none of it is a punishment, how could it if it is showing us that love. Anyone I ask, myself included, would never change one thing that has been gone through in our lives because of what we found. To anyone not having been there yet would think we are crazy, but at that moment of understanding…it is so profound that you can see every moment has led to this very moment in time so that we can indeed understand what love truly is…unconditional love, so, so different from the conditional love ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

          • Oh, yes, Mark! Every little or big incident notice or unnoticed took us to the place we are today. 10 years ago I finished my first song. The title is “I would do it again”. The chorus is:
Today, I look back at my life and can see
That nothing can hurt me unless I agree
Whatever I went through made me who I am
            I would do it again.
We are led on our own individual path and we will get where we are supposed to. Life is love. And love won’t forsake or leave us.

            • Mark Lanesbury

Beautifully said dear lady, the journey is the making of us. And I think that song was very prophetic indeed, your not a closet prophet are you? Almost word for word for that path within πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹ πŸ˜‚ 🀣

              • Is it prophetic or do we remember? I think we know all and only remember the truth that leads us back to where we started numberless incarnations ago…

              • Mark Lanesbury

Haha, well said again Erika. When the student is ready, the teacher will come. I’m listening dear lady 🀣 ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

              • Gosh, that typo. Sorry, just saw it πŸ˜‚
That is another example that we are both… listening too… lol

              • Mark Lanesbury

I only saw one that snuck through (and corrected it πŸ™‚ ). See, I’m still not listening, I missed it 🀣

              • Thanks from my heart for editing… haha. Hehe, too funny!!

  8. World needs to come together in order to heal. If only it could…

    • Mark Lanesbury

But thankfully we do, individually, eventually. The ‘mess’ out there is for those going through it, and once understood we move beyond it. They need to still trip and stumble or they won’t have the chance to go within as we did. And I’m afraid that if you look at all of our kind as they made one era after the other, none of them could find that magic key of peace and beauty for any great length of time at least because without that emotional pain there is nothing to prod us into ‘us’…they are needed or we would sit around drinking pina colada’s by the pool all day and not face our ‘bits’ and be reborn by their understanding πŸ˜€. But I have to admit something has shifted, there is an intensity, a different focus but this time something is going to break, a collapse of the ‘system’ because it is unbalanced…maybe just an end of an era like the Roman’s or Greek’s or Egyptian’s. We’ve had our turn so now what will come through, what era to be born? Hopefully the ‘Earther’s’ to heal as you have said, begin a journey long waited for πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

  9. Humans are so messy! (I have experience, lol). Sometimes the negativity is a reminder I need to steer myself into a different path! πŸ’›

    • Mark Lanesbury

Yes, we all have experience at it dear lady, almost like breathing πŸ˜€ And it is a guidepost in its many ways. Hard, yes, but if it wasn’t we would walk elsewhere and not touch that beautiful place within and feel our worth, an acceptance of who we are, and in doing so that inner love waiting to be found through it ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

  10. Very nice! I listen to a spiritual teacher who says that the negative feelings are our guidance to let us know that we are not in the pure alignment with the energy of source. If there were no negative feelings how would I know when I do not feel well. Exactly I think what you are saying. I am not sure if they have them in Australia but in the States they have “rumble strips” on the side of the road so if you are not paying attention and you veer off the road the rumble strip makes a loud noise under your tire so you wake up! Guidance – πŸ™‚
So nice read your writing!! Much enjoyed.

    • Mark Lanesbury

Well said dear lady, Australia (and life) does indeed have those rumble strips and they are a beautiful guidance. If we didn’t have negativity in our lives we would not fully appreciate the positive when it did come along. All our emotions have their opposite for the very same reason, it teaches after enduring them an appreciation of what is possible, what it is we truly have, and a wisdom to not go back there. Mind you it does have one other purpose, as we go through our life those negativities raise their heads occasionally to show us how far we have indeed moved on from that place. It is a confirmation of who we have become because of it and where we now stand with it. It takes time and the first few appearances there may be bits still to work through and encourages us to keep working forward towards that ‘place of rest’ that love is. Unconditional is that total balance where it all no longer holds us πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

Not sure what happened with this comment, it ended up in the spam. How could your first be fine but the second be spam, the only difference was the icons…those hearts must be dangerous…to WordPress anyway πŸ˜‚ 🀣 ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹ Thank you kind lady, you may ‘heart me’ anytime you wish πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹ πŸ˜‚ 🀣
